Blog Address Changing.

Blog address change:

From Sunday 1st December, the first Sunday in Advent, my blog address will be changing and you will find me over here.  Same name just a slightly different address.  Much of it will be similar...I will still have a books read list.  I will transfer my Vintage Singer Sewing Machine page and of course will continue to post my photographs of nature.  

This blog will become private and it is here I will still document my daily struggle with Chronic Neuropathic Pain that has and continues to change my life dramatically.  I need to keep a record so that I can refer to it to see if any changes and progress has been made, to note when things are bad, and also when things are good, to see if there is any pattern.  I am going to be seeking further help after watching a TV programme on Pain and how much it affects and changes lives.  I am hoping that I may be a possible candidate for some different treatment, but will need to write to the Professor and see if I can be used on his research project as at the moment this treatment still isn't available to the general population.  I have to try something as it is when the pain is at its worse that I realise it just 'ain't getting any better'!

I have had a really rough couple of weeks pain wise and then for the last four days I have had terrible head/neck pain, headache/migraine.  I haven't had this problem since I came off all medication so I am hoping it is just a 'blip' and will go and not the Chiari Malformation making its presence known which is always a concern at the back of my mind...literally!

I have been for a walk today in the hope that it would clear the head, but no such luck.  However, I do have a few photos to share.

Blogging and what to do about it!

Make this blog private and start a new one.  (Cons: Won't be able to use the same blog address which I really like and will have to think up a new one!)

Export all of this blog to another and make that private (Cons: Will lose statistics...eg how many times a post has been read etc...but does that really matter anyway?  Will be time consuming as I will then have to delete over 1000 posts, 50 posts at a time on this blog!)

Leave it as is...(Cons: Not sure I want everything I have written and poured my heart out about over the last few years public anymore...in fact quite sure I don't want to.

Just simply make this private and give up... (Cons: I still want to be able show photos and record things I have made etc...and take part in the odd blogging swap or activity)

The last few days.

The other day we went to the local aquatic centre to get a cleaning pump for the pond.  We were delighted to see some deer next to the car park and I managed to get some pictures of them.

One day we will hopefully have a large fish pond of our own and I imagined what fish I would have in it!

Sunday was a lovely day and we managed to get out for a walk locally.

Today I took Percy to the huge woods and park I often go to.  We haven't been there since before the storms and were saddened to see several lovely large trees blown down including a fabulous oak.  It was the perfect day for a walk, the sun was shining and even felt quite warm!  A change after Monday and Tuesday's horrible weather.

I had choir practice last night, having just joined the local community choir and really enjoyed it.  I also recently joined an afternoon singing group which is jolly good fun and had a lovely afternoon there.  

On another note....having reached the grand total of 1000 posts it is time for reflection.

Things are changing and after having no phone or internet access for the last four days, as well as some chosen absence from various online social network groups for the last month and a half I have decided that I really don't miss it much and get a lot more done! I want to focus on other things and so I have decided that I am going to be winding down this blog over the next few days or weeks.  I haven't quite decided whether to take all I have on here off and just keep it for the odd photo and sharing I want to do, start another , or just stop altogether.  Certainly the information on here will go to private at the very least if I can't work out how to export it all.  I don't want to lose the last few years as they are a record for me, which is why I started this blog, but I have got to the stage where I don't want to share all this any more.  So if I disappear, you will know why!
