What a year it has been! I can't believe how fast it has gone... much has been achieved, new ventures begun and others still on hold. I've started this blog, having pretty much abandoned my other quite personal one...for the better I believe. I've 'met' some really lovely people two of whom I'm very much looking forward to meet in New Zealand when I go over in February/March. I've been the lucky recipient of some really lovely gifts through PIF, giveaways and swaps and would like to thank you all so much for the wonderful things you've sent me over the course of the year - you all know who you are.
Wishing all my lovely readers and friends a Very Happy New Year as we begin a new decade!
So a rather long look back at the year through a select group of photographs!
January: A time of recovery from major surgery and much baking!
February: Snow, A Victorian Nursery Chair and more Snow!
March: A very busy month, started this blog, a time for the FTP - Front Porch Transformation, a new shed and my birthday!
April: Drip, drip, drop little April Showers.... not much of that this April... most of my photos show glorious sunshine.
May: More blue skies.
June: We went to see Plymouth University, I discovered Looe and we saw our dream property which sadly we missed out on purchasing. I also tried to make gooseberry jam...unsuccessfully I might add!
July: We went on holiday to St Austell, DS1 turned 18 and we saw him off on his great scouting adventure to Swaziland and we enjoyed a quiet summer at home.
August: We enjoyed the summer visiting a few NT properties and some parks. It was also a time of sadness as I lost my lovely guinea pig Oliver.
September: Boys back at school, back to work for me, a time of gardening, Alexander won Best New & Emerging at the big London Show, much sewing and I finished my Big Blue Crochet Blanket!
October: I started the Utmost Challenge, the leaves started to change colour and DS2 turned 13!
November: Craft fairs, Christmas sewing, beginning of Advent and warm clothes.
December: Getting colder, Advent season, Christmas & snow!
Oh I tried out with the advanced blogger layout thingymagingy again and as you can see with the wonky photos I wasn't particularly successful!
