Working in the garden this afternoon.
The front garden has been looking quite frankly a mess. Over the last year or so I just haven't had the energy to tackle it due to one thing or another. But now!
I could stand it no longer, something had to be done with this wild mess.
Starting to look a little clearer....
Today we bought a couple of extra plants - two hydrangeas., Bela blauw and a Pink.
I needed some new pots as the wooden tubs had rotted, so we bought these as the were on special at half price.
I started clearing the area...
Needs a little something more...
Some blue pots with marigolds in.
Hmm...don't think I need those bricks there any longer...they were to protect the little grave where DS2's 'Princess' was buried.
That looks better.
Another view. The lawn still needs attention and the guinea pig runs moving and the stuff under the tarpaulins will be listed on freecycle as they are loads more guinea pig cages and things that I no longer need.
Looking up the path which has the roses along the side of it. Next job tackle the front porch which has also become a 'collection' point for 'stuff and nonsense'.
I planted the climber in a pot for now - it may be planted elsewhere at a later date. Need to get some trellis work for the side of the shed and paint my seat.
