On Tuesday hubby took me and my friend Jill to Windsor Castle for the day. We were lucky enough to arrive in time for the changing of the guards which was rather exciting.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day walking around this wonderful castle admiring the wonders both inside and out.
These gardens must look amazing in spring and summer.

Queen Mary's Doll House was amazing, so much to look at that I bought the book in the end to bring home with me as we weren't allowed to take photographs.
We had an enjoyable late lunch in the afternoon before we set off home.
The three days and two nights Jill spent with me went far too quickly, it was such a shame she couldn't spend a few more days, but I am so glad we had the time we did.
Glad you had a good time together. Friends are like stars - we don't always see them but we know they are there! Lovely photos - pity the guards were in their grey greatcoats rather than their red jackets but still amazing. Wonder if that young lad on sentry duty's mother knows he's out on his own with that big gun!!!
