Today was the last open day to non-members at the Garden of the Rose and also the last day the tea room is open so with we decided to take Mum for another wander round and to have an afternoon tea.
Not long after we started wandering round the rain suddenly came pouring down preceded by a clap of thunder
A real deluge that fortunately only lasted about five minutes and then the sun came out.
The gardens actually looked really pretty and fresh and bright after the rain.
It was a lovely afternoon that was over all too soon.
The roses look fresh & lovely with raindrops on them.
